Police have also released the last car with damage seized in the investigation into the death of 14-year-old Tamar from Marken, a spokesperson reports NH News. Three other cars were already returned to the owners last week.
Releasing the cars does not mean that they are excluded from involvement. The investigation into the vehicles has now been completed, but the information will end up in the file. The four owners of the vehicles are not suspects in the case.
The investigation is also ongoing, thanks in part to dozens of tips that came in after an emotional call from the girl’s mother in talk show On 1. The police spokesman says that many tips have already been checked but that they have not yet yielded anything.
Agents found Tamar dead in the roadside along the Zeedijk in Zuiderwoude on the night of July 25. Research has shown that the teenager has been hit. The police immediately started a search for vehicles with damage in the vicinity of Marken.
