The ex-president Guillermo Lassojust returned last night from Florida, where he was teaching a course at the Florida International University, voted this morning in the popular consultation called by President Daniel Noboa.
«I have always supported great causes. That’s why, My vote is in support of the military and police who face crime daily, for extraditing drug traffickers and for more opportunities for Ecuadorians. The positive changes that this popular consultation will bring will remain, regardless of who is in power. “Ecuador deserves a new opportunity that will facilitate the path to security and confront the country’s true enemies,” Lasso wrote in his X account.
