The concert cycle “Winter Chamber Music” will continue in the historical 13th century Capitol Hall of the Riga Dome Cathedral, and on Saturday, February 26, at 6 pm, an unusual concert program “Henry Pearls. Jazz Baroque” will be performed.
The concert will feature two nominees for this year’s Grand Music Award – double bassist Jānis Rubiks and organist Aigars Reinis, as well as singer Jānis Strazdiņš and baroque violinist Lāsma Meldere-Šestakovawith whom we meet in the “Classic” studio.
In this program, English baroque music will be combined with light jazzy moods and small improvisations. Different manuscripts, different styles and their combination in free play!
