The friend of LASK footballer René Renner succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.

The 24-year-old Sabrina from Weißkirchen an der Traun (Wels-Land district) fought for her life for five days, now the young Upper Austrian died in the Amstetten Clinic of her injuries. LASK professional kicker René Renner (26) was on a rafting tour on the Salza with his long-time girlfriend on Saturday when the accident suddenly occurred. The operator lost control in a rapids, the white water inflatable crashed into a rock and capsized. The 26-year-old took an estimated half a minute to free himself.
Getting caught. The young student had apparently caught one leg on the seat bridge of the boat or had been pressed against a stone. It remained under water for 15 to 20 minutes.
Sabrina was flown to the Amstetten hospital with a helicopter and had to be put into a coma. Now she succumbed to her injuries.
