After the pandemic, Las Vegas has rebounded in travel demand, especially in the MICE tourism segment, in addition to the fact that spending per person increased according to the report from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

The destination has expanded its spaces for conventions and meetings, professional sports teams and new places like Allegiant Stadium, according to Travel Pulse.

Visitor spending over the past year hit $44.9 billion, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. Likewise, the total expenditure of visitors was above 2021 by 24.4% and the total of 2019 by 21.8%.

Post-pandemic, Las Vegas capitalized on pent-up demand. It had a strong rebound in visitors impacting the state’s economy, said Kate Wik, director of marketing for the LVCVA.

as reported REPORTUR.us, The Las Vegas Strip rebounded in March with hotels full for a surprising number of events, conventions and sporting events like the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. (Las Vegas: Strip rates skyrocket for large events in March.)
