Las Piñas City government sponsored a mass wedding for 116 couples to celebrate the city’s anniversary, providing rings, cakes, and food packs.

Las Piñas City government sponsored a mass wedding called “Kasalang Bayan” as part of the celebration of the city’s 26th cityhood and 116th founding anniversary. 116 couples participated in the event, which was held at the Verdant covered court in Barangay Pamplona III. The event was presided over by Vice Mayor April Aguilar and the couples were given free wedding rings, cakes, wines, and food packs courtesy of the local government. The program offered cost-free weddings from the filing of applications to notarizations and marriage certificates. Mayor Imelda Aguilar donated the gifts provided to the couples who participated in Kasalang Bayan.
