The Metropolitan Health Seremi decided to apply a fine of more than 30 million pesos to the Las Condes Clinic, after concluding the sanitary investigation carried out against the private institution of health for administering a third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to the president of his board of directors, Alejandro Gil, violating sanitary protocols.
Likewise, the health authority imposed a fine of close to 8 million pesos (150 UTM) to the medical director of the campus, Rodrigo Mardones, for his responsibility in the event, which after being known led to the resignation of the head of the Outpatient Services, Leticia Ortiz, who had 15 years of experience in the enclosure.

As reported by Seremi through a statement, on July 5 the health authority learned that in the vaccination of the aforementioned clinic a dose of Pfizer vaccine had been administered to a “user who had already received a complete Coronavac scheme, not adjusting to the guidelines for the vaccination campaign against SARS-CoV-2, violating the agreement signed with the Metropolitan Health Seremi ”.
After the sanitary summary was prepared, Since July 23 and to date, the vaccination program of the Las Condes Clinic for inoculation against Covid-19 has been temporarily suspended.
