Larian seems to be hinting that the Xbox version of the game will launch sometime in 2024.

As for the Xbox Series version, Larian has confirmed it’s in development, but it’s taking longer than expected due to difficulties getting split-screen to work on the platform. As for how long fans will have to wait for the Xbox Series X/S to debut, a new tweet (or thread I guess these days) on Twitter…X hints that a 2024 launch could be around the corner. Michael Douse, Larian’s publishing director, said on X:“We’ve said many times in the past that the problem is working with split screen on the Series S, which will take more time, but it’s a work in progress. It’s a huge technical hurdle, but we can’t be in the ecosystem without this feature. Publishing the game.” Far from being exclusive, we have no exclusivity agreements preventing us from launching on Xbox. This is a technical obstacle.
