Largest Catholic Health Network Performs Gender Reassignment Surgeries, Shocking Report Finds

A report by the Lepanto Institute, a Catholic research and education organization, published on June 12, show that CommonSpirit Health, the largest Catholic healthcare network in the United States, performs “gender reassignment” surgeries and other abominations.

CommonSpirit Health is a subsidiary of the Catholic Health Care Federation (CHCF) which,

“by virtue of its decree of canonical erection by the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, is a legal entity of pontifical right, subject to the direct supervision and jurisdiction of the Apostolic See in the Vatican”.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form 990s confirm that CommonSpirit Health receives religious tax exemptions, but also that the organization is part of the Catholic Church.

The 64 page report titled “CommonSpirit and the Sex-Change Industry” revealed that CommonSpirit Health will publicly admit:

• perform “sex change” operations;
• providing hormone therapies to patients “suffering from gender dysphoria”;
• providing puberty blockers to children;
• providing employee benefits that cover these horrors;
• deliver all forms of contraception, including abortions;
• perform abortion (in at least one facility).

Michael Hichbornpresident of the Lepanto Institute, denounces:

“The fact that CommonSpirit Health butchers the bodies and genitals of deeply disoriented and vulnerable people while performing sex reassignment operations is unheard of depravity. But what is truly satanic is that this attack on the image and likeness of God is done in the name of the Catholic Church. »

The report cites CommonSpirit’s financial contributions to one of its members, the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital Gender Institute, for the purchase of a second robotic surgical instrument for performing “gender reassignment” surgeries.

The report lists 26 hospitals run by Dignity Health, an affiliate of CommonSpirit, and 12 others run by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) that offer “trans health care” services. Two of these hospitals, Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco (SFMH) and Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, allegedly perform sex reassignment surgeries.
