The Stratolaunch aircraft, considered the largest in the world, carried out a flight test in the California desert, in USA, this Thursday (29). The aircraft of gigantic proportions flew for about 4 hours and successfully landed.

On social networks, the company, which has the same name as the plane, celebrated the landing. “Successful flight tests to end the day,” wrote Stratolaunch, who shared images of the plane landing.

The aircraft, according to Stratolaunch, has six Boeing 747 engines, which allow a payload capacity of more than 500 thousand pounds (about 226 thousand kg).

This Thursday, the plane took off from the runway at Mojave Air and Space Port, which houses the manufacturing facilities of Stratolaunch and other aerospace companies.
