Today, the National Coordination Team Covid-19 vaccination, in collaboration with the business community, a national team of nurses, doctors and volunteers from various institutions, is organizing a large vaccination day at the Wanica Regional Hospital. There was already a large turnout before 7 a.m. Vaccination is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
With these major vaccination events, the Ministry of Health wants to make vaccination more accessible to the various target groups. The groups that are now being vaccinated are:
• All over 60s
• All 40-60 year olds with underlying conditions such as kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, obesity, sickle cell disease and high blood pressure.
• All dialysis patients
• Persons living in retirement homes
• All healthcare workers
People belonging to one of these groups are urged to register online via Laatjevaccineren.sr or call 178. Shuttle buses will be available from 07:30 am from the Lelydorp car park and the Kuldipsing Highway car park.
