Frankfurt/Wiesbaden – Living spaces of right-wing radicals in the police sights: In a large-scale operation against right-wing radicalism in Hesse, the police executed a total of 14 search warrants this week. As the Hessian State Criminal Police Office (LKA) in Wiesbaden announced on Friday (September 29th), the living quarters of three women and eleven men between the ages of 17 and 83 were affected.
Three of the searches were in connection with the ban on the right-wing extremist group “The Species Community – Germanic Faith Community of Essential Living”. During these searches, investigators came across firearms and Nazi relics.

The remaining search warrants carried out in Hesse were issued due to the use of symbols of anti-constitutional organizations and violations of the weapons law. “The risk posed by individuals from the right-wing extremist environment is extremely high,” said LKA President Andreas Röhrig about the searches that took place on Wednesday (September 27) and Friday in the districts of Limburg-Weilburg, Kassel, Gießen and Fulda , Vogelsberg, Groß-Gerau, Main-Kinzig as well as in the cities of Frankfurt, Offenbach and Wiesbaden.
