The KEI week started on Monday morning for the 53rd time. Despite the alternative, ‘coronaproof’ programme, the introduction week for studying is completely sold out for the first time.
According to the organization, this edition, with about 5500 KEI runners, is the most visited edition ever and that makes the organization very happy: “We are very happy with the enormous interest”, says KEI chairman Willemijn Griep. “The KEI groups are presented with a varied programme. A large part of the program before Corona is back and there are also a number of new parts.”
“We think we can offer KEI runners a very good start to their student days with the current program,” Griep concludes. “It is a program where, in addition to cultural and informative events, there is also room for conviviality.”
Alternative, but full program
This year KEI runners can view the program via this app and register themselves for time slots. In addition, the app offers the interactive KEI route along all the highlights of the City. Other traditional events, such as Sportplaza and the Information Market, are on the agenda.
The program is not quite as usual yet, because the traditional parties during the KEI week cannot take place this year. KEI runners can therefore meet each other this year at the Terrassenfestival at the Roodehaan event site.
