The village of Bagn in Valdres was hit by a large landslide on Tuesday afternoon. It reports Newspaper Valdres.
One residential building must be removed from the landslide. Mayor Marit Hougsrud confirms this to the local newspaper.
Several residents are now being evacuated from the housing estate where the landslide has occurred.
The police in Innlandet write in a press release that they do not have an overview of the situation and whether there are people who are missing as a result of the landslide.
Anja Bakken, communications adviser at the Central Rescue Service (HRS), tells NRK that they currently have no indications that anyone is missing.

Rescue crews keep a safe distance
The fire service is also present in the area, but keeps the rescue teams at a safe distance because there is a risk of more landslides and there are unstable masses.
This is according to duty manager Eirik Haugen at Innlandet 110 central to NRK.
– It can be seen from the pictures that there is extensive damage both to the building and the surrounding areas. The police, fire and health are still working at the site, he says.
Haugen says Tuesday is hectic for Innlandet 110 central, with many and simultaneous events.
– There are many landslides, for example in Ottadalen. The fire brigade is assisting as best they can, and more weather is coming. The challenge is to keep the crews in endurance. We have to prioritize as best we can and take it accordingly.
