Last week it was already announced that gas extraction in our province will in all likelihood be reduced this year, despite the earlier promise doubled. This is partly because the Germans need more gas and because the construction of a nitrogen plant in Zuidbroek has been delayed. The demand for low-calorific gas from Groningen will therefore remain higher in the coming years. – .
