Large Cannabis Farm Discovered in Holiday Chalet at Lathum Campsite

The police have found a cannabis farm in a holiday chalet at a campsite in Lathum. Officers arrived at the chalet on Thursday after an anonymous tip. The chalet contained 160 hemp plants.

No one was found at the nursery. “The municipality and the energy company also came to the campsite following this discovery. The energy company found that in this case there was no theft of electricity to keep the nursery running, which is often the case,” says the Rivierenland-Oost police.

The house has been evacuated and sealed, further investigation into, among other things, the owner of the plants is underway.
