As the 2020 edition has not taken place, the Bordeaux Lions club, which organize their annual blood drive on campus, want to work harder. Nearly 1,400 donors are expected from November 16 to 18 on the Aula Magna esplanade of the Pessac campus. To participate in
this 13th edition “Sang Pour Sang Campus”, one of the largest in France, students must register on the site:

Retain young donors
Young people under the age of 30 make up about 30% of donors in the region and it is among them that we find the highest proportion of new donors, yet they donate blood less often than the national average. “The major stake of the French blood establishment (EFS) is therefore to recruit among them the
donors of today and tomorrow, to encourage them to a sustained mobilization (several donations per year) during their studies and to retain them in the long term ”, explain the EFS and the Lions club of Bordeaux in a press release.
