Enthusiast ilariacroft has released a free remaster of the Caves level from the very first Tomb Raider. In the video below, the heroine in a tank top and shorts travels through a cold location and fights wolves.
It all looks pretty good, but keep in mind that this is not a remake, and the graphics are as close as possible to the original. Moreover, one person was engaged in the level.
You can download the remaster here. It weighs only 88 MB. Enthusiast ilariacroft not only recreated the level, but improved many of the models as well as the gameplay itself.
The next Lara Croft game from Crystal Dynamics is due out in the coming years. Now the franchise is actively engaged in Amazon.
