The provincial administration of L’Aquila, with presidential decree n. 15 of 12 February 2021, approved the final project for the construction of a new gym for use by the IIS “A. Bafile ”of L’Aquila, by a total contract amount equal to 1.4 million euros, of which 975 for works. The project was drawn up by Arch. Giuseppe Tempesta.
“The structure will be built in the Colle Sapone school complex – declares the Vice President of the Province, with school building delegation, Vincenzo Calvisi – in a free area adjacent to the headquarters of the Liceo Scientifico, will have a size of approx 800 meters squares, with stands for 400 people and 7.5 meters high, so that it is also suitable for international tournaments.”
“It will serve not only the student population, but also of the city sports associations. We plan to include this intervention in the next 2021-2023 programming – concludes Vincenzo Calvisi – as there is already a partial economic coverage available to which additional resources will have to be added with future budget changes. “
