Next Sunday, October 6, at 6 p.m., the fifth season of Unísono, the program of the National Institute of Music (INAMU), will highlight the participation of Lank, an alternative rock band that represents San Juan. This broadcast can be seen on Public Television and will have the special participation of Joselo Schuap.
Lank is a key band in the local rock scene since its formation in 2014. With an outstanding career, they shared the stage with important groups such as Molotov, Los Pericos and Carajo. In 2015 he released his first EP, Simultaneo, and since then he has not stopped conquering stages. After a time away from the spotlight and with new members, she returned in 2023 with releases such as “Entre Sombras”, “Huyendo de Mí” and “Broken”, the latter featuring the participation of Mace Beyers, bassist of the international band Gray Daze .
Lank’s participation in Unísono is an opportunity to continue spreading the talent of these lands and its growing music scene, taking it to the entire country. This space, produced by INAMU, has established itself as a key platform for independent musicians from all provinces and, on this occasion, it will be San Juan’s turn to shine.
The people from San Juan have already gone through the cycle: After Old Men, Juani y los Conos, D’Miscela, the University Choir and Eli Dominguez, among others.
In addition to Lank, the broadcast will include the music of other artists from various regions: Perro en cine (Misiones), Ventarrón Funk (CABA), Ana Eugenia (Corrientes) and Juan Manuel Antar along with Leandro Isaac (Buenos Aires). There will also be special videos, tributes and surprises.
In 223 broadcasts, more than 2,380 groups and soloists from all provinces and musical styles spread their art throughout the country on the Public Television screen.
Produced by the National Institute of Music (INAMU), Unísono disseminates groups and soloists who produce their music independently, with the word of its protagonists from their homes. They are presented in each edition by great national music references and, in addition, they play special videos, tributes and surprises.
