Dresden (dpa / sn) – The Saxon state parliament is meeting today for its second day in June. Initially, there are several current debates on the agenda – for example on the future of Europe, on Jewish life and culture in Saxony and on the subject of 60 years of building the Wall. In addition, it should be about the promotion of sport and exercise at daycare centers and schools as well as the topic of swimming lessons.
There is a priority motion for the black-green-red government factions. Sport was neglected in many places in the corona crisis, it was said in advance. In the afternoon, the umbrella association of Saxon migrant organizations will also hand over a key issues paper on the planned integration and participation law to Minister of Social Affairs Petra Köpping (SPD) in front of the state parliament.
