Deißlingen (dpa / lsw) – When the temperature was slightly below zero, a naked man walked along federal highway 27 in the Rottweil district. Drivers noticed the 61-year-old on New Year’s morning near Deißlingen and alerted the police. According to initial findings, the man was not very long on the road, said a police spokesman. “But I can’t imagine what would have happened if he had tripped and landed in the ditch.” Officials wrapped the already hypothermic, mentally ill 61-year-old in a blanket and took him to a specialist clinic. The staff there had noticed his disappearance shortly before and looked for the man.
