Land events Avalanche hit a dining hall in Sawangan District, Depok, West Java. As a result, two people died at the scene.
Monitoring detik.com At the location, Thursday (2/6/2022) at 17.15 WIB, the two victims’ bodies had been evacuated by the police, assisted by members of the fire brigade and the Depok BPBD. The bodies of the two victims were taken to the funeral home using different ambulances.
The incident occurred at a restaurant on Jalan Pemuda Number 1 Sawangan Baru, Sawangan District, Depok, West Java, at around 16.30 WIB.
The sobs of the family accompanies the process of evacuating the bodies of the victims. Sawangan sub-district head, Anwar Nasihin, also visited the location.
“There were two families eating, in different huts. When it rained, water from across the river pushed the wall directly behind the hut,” said Depok Metro Police Chief, Kombes Imran Edwin Siregar at the location.
The two victims consisted of a woman and a man. While there is one witness who survived.
“Saung collapsed, there was 1 witness survived and two people died, one woman and one man. The survivors are still in hospital,” he continued.
Two of the victims were said to have suffered injuries to the face and head. One other person suffered minor injuries.
