Lando Norris apologized for his comments

Lando Norris has apologized for his comments in recent interviews. Although the McLaren driver did not specify what specific words he was apologizing for, some of his statements during the Portuguese Grand Prix received a fairly wide response.

In particular, Lando criticized Lance Stroll for the collision in the race, using a few unprintable expressions and already more calmly saying that the Canadian “does not learn from his mistakes.” The McLaren driver was not particularly flattering about Lewis Hamilton’s record 92nd career victory, stating that “this result does not mean anything to me”, because Lewis has “a car that should win every race”.

Lando posted the following social media post on Tuesday: “I have to apologize. I have acted foolishly and imprudently by making isolated comments in recent interviews in which I have not shown proper respect for certain people.

I am not that kind of person, so I must apologize to them and everyone who has read or heard my words. I regret”.
