Working round table on the topic “Challenges to family farming and the development of rural areas in Bulgaria” organized from 9:30 a.m. on October 10 in the Third Auditorium of the Agrarian University Foundation “Earth – source of income”. The forum is supported by the Department of Economics of the Agrarian University – Plovdiv, the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Technical University – Sofia, Plovdiv branch and the National Agricultural Advisory Service.
For another year, the event is financed by the “America for Bulgaria” foundation within the framework of a three-year project, launched in March 2024.
The Round Table will discuss the state of small business in rural areas. Possibilities for its support will also be discussed, as well as the role of municipalities, state institutions, non-governmental organizations and educational institutions in this process.
On the same day at 2 p.m., a scientific conference on the topic “The role of family business for sustainable development” will be held.
