Always more professionals to manage land affairs. Since this Wednesday, 9 of them will be able to exercise thanks to their professional card granted by the ministry in charge of land. The list of land professionals is growing.
This Wednesday, 2 land mediators residing in Paea and Punaauia, 2 genealogists residing in Papeete and Pirae, and 5 transcription agents residing in Faa’a, Mahina, Papeete, Pirae and Atuona, received their professional card from the hands of the minister in charge du Foncier, Tearii Te Moana Alpha.
As a reminder, the land mediator accompanies families towards an amicable agreement in the context of a land dispute.
The genealogist carries out on behalf of a client research on the origin, filiations and alliances of the persons composing a family. He draws up family trees and obtains the corresponding civil status documents.
The transcription agent carries out on behalf of a client the steps of any kind tending to the transcription of judicial decisions and the filing of the slips of these transcriptions with the formality of land registration.
The exercise of these professions has been regulated in order to better support users in their land tenure procedures and in particular to guarantee a quality of service to users.
