AN ACCIDENT – So far the Lancia it had been very careful to protect the shapes of its relaunch car, the new one Ypsilon. Now, however, an accident allows us to give a “peek” at what it will be like. As reported by the French site The Republican East, one example would have been stolen and subsequently ended up in a canal in Montbéliard, near the Peugeot headquarters in Sochaux. The firefighters who intervened recovered the car: you can see the smooth sides, with a rear handle in the window frame, the rear pillar which houses the Lancia logo, the black headlights (which should have a circular appearance when turned on) connected by an element of the same color and front lights on two levels.
NOTHING LEFT TO THE DEBUT – These images are in addition to those of the interior (Who to find out more and in the photo below), taken a few days ago by spy photographers of a pre-series example. The house is expected to release official photos soon, also because they are the first Lancia Ypsilon they will arrive in dealerships soon: towards June 2024.
THERE WILL ALSO BE ELECTRIC SPORTS – The new Lancia Ypsilon uses the mechanics of the Peugeot 208 and Opel Corsa, so it will be offered in both versions mild hybrid (with 3 cylinders 1.2 turbo combined with the new dual clutch robotized gearbox, with 101 or 136 HP) and electric with 156 HP. The sports car will also be current HFexpected in mid-2025 and which will have 240 HP and widened tracks.
