The American singer Lana Del Rey (39) has been a married lady since yesterday. The interpreter of such hits as Born To Die or Summertime Sadness said her ‘yes’ to Jeremy Dufrene, whom she introduced publicly as her partner only recently.
The couple was definitely not concerned with big wedding preparations, and they both took a very unconventional approach to the celebration. The 39-year-old artist married her chosen one in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, in the ‘backyard’ of the cove where Dufrene runs alligator swamp boat tours.
The bride’s white dress and the groom’s suit were not missing. According to tradition, the singer was also led ‘to the altar’ by her father, Robert Grant. Lana opted for a romantic wedding dress with a ruffled off-the-shoulder neckline with a flared skirt and a back bun with a loose wavy ponytail, while the groom paired a navy blue suit and vest with a white shirt and brown shoes.
Lana and Jeremy made their first official public appearance earlier this month at the wedding of model Karen Elson. But they have known each other for quite a long time, as Lana took a trip with her friends on his boat several years ago. Jeremy has two daughters and a son from a previous relationship.
