After Norman Fucking Rockwell, named album of the year at Grammy Awards and most critically acclaimed album of 2019 according to BBC, King’s wool formalizes the release of his seventh studio album Chemtrails Over The Country Club in 2021. We will find at the controls of the album Jack Antonoff who had already produced his previous album which is GOLD certified in France. In this opus, the bewitching King’s wool offers surprising sounds, never explored in her discography, flirting with folk, as she had promised her fans on social networks. It will include the extract already unveiled Let Me Love You Like A Woman.
With 16,700 vinyls sold in the first week, it becomes the fastest selling vinyl of the century by a female artist in the UK. It becomes her first album to reach 100 million Spotify streams so quickly. It has had its best start in the UK and France since 2014!
