Lampard set Chelsea’s main transfer target for the January transfer period. According to the Athletic daily, the Blues want to bring West Ham midfielder Declan Rice in January. Only 21-year-old Rice worked in Chelsea as a youth, but he only peeked into the world of big football in West Ham, where he is one of the most important players in the team.

Despite his young age, Rice is no newcomer to the Premier League. He has been part of the first West Ham team since 2015 and since then he has won more than a hundred league matches in the Hammers jersey.
