One more death, on the road network of the Guadeloupe archipelago. A 42-year-old man lost his life in an accident this afternoon in Brefort/Lamentin. A 32-year-old woman was also injured.

The men of the Guadeloupe Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) had to intervene in an accident involving a two-wheeler and another vehicle, on the national road, almost below the Brefort bridge, in Lamentin. The distress call was made to the emergency services at 4:21 p.m. this Friday, June 10, 2022.
The toll is heavy: the death of the driver of the two-wheeler, a 42-year-old man, was declared, on the spot, by the doctor of the Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service (SMUR).
Another victim is to be deplored. It is a 32-year-old woman who was concussed and found in shock by firefighters. She was taken care of and taken to the hospital.
This biker is the twentieth person to die on the roads of Guadeloupe since the start of 2022.
