The Italian carmaker has finally officially introduced the reborn Countach LPI 800-4 model, which will be created as a limited series built on the basis of the Aventador model with the Sián model technology.

For the first time in its history, Lamborghini has resurrected a name already in use and is re-launching the Countach model fifty years after its first performance. This time, however, with the designation LPI 800-4 and modern electrified technology, taken from the Sián model.
After all, the Sián model is also reminiscent of some characteristic design features, such as the shapes of the tail lamps. The arch of the roof and its transition between the bow and stern again resembles the Aventador model, on the foundations of which Sián was also created. However, the designers took special care to emphasize the similarities with the original Countach model. Respectively with several of its versions.
The basic inspiration was mainly the clean and simple shapes of the older version of the Countach LP400. The front hood is simply straight in the jury and tapers decently upwards. The designers also used a special shape of the headlights and at least indicated the original blinks just above them. At the rear, there are quite simple flashlights, four exhausts and distinctive painted exhausts.

When viewed from the side, you can’t miss the giant arrow-shaped openings for air supply, which extend through the door to the fenders. The carmaker thus recalls the iconic NACA touches on the side of the original Countach. And of course there are specific folding doors.
However, it was not only the older Countach LP400 that served as inspiration. For example, the blinds behind the door are taken from the original concept of the Countach model. The distinctive openings behind them come for a change from the LP500 S version. The lower part of the front bumper should then be inspired by the LP 500 QuattroValvole.
Already after the escape of the first photos, which eventually turned out to be real, a number of critics of the new design responded. However, it is necessary to emphasize that the carmaker did not want to create an old car in a new coat, but to create a modern tribute to the classic icon. And a number of specific design elements definitely correspond to this.

In addition, there are often rumors that the new Countach LPI 800-4 can be a farewell to the classic Lamborghini models equipped with V12 engines. Under the hood is a 6.5-liter atmospheric twelve-cylinder, which spins up to 8,500 rpm and offers the highest output of 573 kW. However, the motor is also assisted by an electric motor with an output of 25 kW, powered by a 48V network from a supercapacitor.
The combined power of the entire powertrain should be 599 kW (814 hp) and travel to all wheels via a seven-speed transmission. Acceleration to 100 km / h should be able to handle the new Countach LPI 800-4 in 2.8 seconds, in 8.6 seconds it should run 200 km / h and the maximum speed should be up to 335 km / h.
The interior of the car is a combination of the interior of the Aventador models, from which, for example, the steering wheel and seats come, and Sián, from which the new Countach received the dashboard, door trim or center console. However, the Countach is distinguished by new ventilation vents, new upholstery or an 8.4-inch infotainment display. A complete novelty is the Stile button, which should present the car’s philosophy to the driver and front passenger.

The car in the photos was given an interior upholstered in red leather and its model was to be the personal Countach Ferruccia Lamborghini. However, everyone will be able to choose from a rich palette of exterior colors, inspired by the original offer, and several color combinations of the interior.
The carmaker plans to produce a total of 112 pieces of the Countach LPI 800-4 model, while not announcing the price as usual. However, according to foreign speculation, it could be around one million dollars, ie about 21.5 million crowns.
