The Ghent Altarpiece may be viewed in an alternative way. This allows a maximum of 10 people to enter at the same time. “The people who are inside have to walk around the artwork according to the indications in the chapel,” explains Collin. “They should certainly not be mixed up so that they can respect the distance of 1.5 meters. After fifteen minutes they have to leave the chapel again to give the other visitors the opportunity to come by too. ”
Another striking change is that the masterpiece can no longer be visited freely: “We are now working with online reservations. It is not yet a storm at the moment, but it will be quite busy in the coming days. ”
