Even though he was forced to miss several days of Baltimore Ravens training camp after contracting COVID-19, quarterback Lamar Jackson is still unsure whether he wishes to receive the vaccine against the virus.
That’s what the third-year hub said on Monday during his media briefing.
Jackson claimed it was “a decision of a personal nature” and that he intended to stay informed on the matter.
“I just left the group of players unavailable due to COVID-19. I have to talk to my team about it and see how everyone feels about it. I continue to learn as much as I can. We’ll see, ”the quarterback also said.
Jackson returned to the Ravens’ entourage last Saturday after missing 10 days of training camp. This is the second time the 24-year-old has battled the virus in eight months.
After having had a superb 2019 campaign, the Louisville University product experienced a certain decline last season. Jackson completed 64.4% of his attempted passes for gains of 2,757 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also amassed 1,005 yards and seven rushing majors.
