The actor Lalo España announced that this year he will make a film with a very important figure of Hollywood cinema, in June he will start participating in a soap opera and the 13th season of “Neighbors” is coming to the beloved character “Germán”.
In an interview via zoom for XEU 98.1 FM, the actor commented that it is a film in Spanish but a co-production with the United States: “There is a special participation in the cinema in a foreign film, which I still cannot say due to contract issues (…) I’m going to have a 3-day call and I’m going to film with a very cool figure in the Hollywood industry, we’re going to film in Mexico and it’s a Spanish film.”
He also said that in June he will make a telenovela, “but when the moment approaches I will tell you.”
About the Mexican series “Neighbors” that is on the air in season 12, without a doubt one of the most emotional after the death of actor Octavio Ocaña “Benito”, Lalo Spain referred to the reason for the success:
“It is a simple program, without pretensions, that the writers are always updating, and the program is very current for kids, children, grandparents, it is one of those chickpeas from a pound and it hits a lot because everyone identifies with those who live in a building”.
Questioned by XEU from Veracruz about the death of the young actor Octavio Ocaña, whom he saw grow up and the way he was fired from the series, Lalo España stated:
“It was a very strong blow and we dedicated all the love to him, there was a very nice and emotional tribute to him and to give him a very nice balm with all the love to his family and the public that showed him so much affection during these 17 years”.
And he added: “It was very beautiful, very liberating with all the love and the good vibes (…) It took us a lot of work to rehearsals because we felt a lump in our throats.”
He announced that more surprises are coming for “Neighbors” and season 13: “Little by little they have seen special guests, very funny situations, little by little a new cast has been integrated because the program gives it freshness (…) Season 12 is already over , then comes the Albertano series against the monsters and finishing them enters the 13th season of Neighbors “.
About his one-man show “Felices” that he presents at the CDMX Xola Theater, Lalo España commented: “It has already been recovered, there are nine performances, I have already done one and it is a work that makes us reflect on how quickly life goes by and how important it is to appreciate the moment with all the love”.
In addition, Lalo España continues to grow with his YouTube channel Garnacha Chanel and continues with “El Tenorio comedian”.
Regarding the project for the series on Roberto Gómez Bolaños, the actor Lalo España referred: “I understand that it is very late, I only did the casting as an actor, but I understand that it could be done until next year and whoever gets it, who father”.
Without a doubt, Lalo España is one of the few actors with the most work this year with a film, a soap opera, a season of Vecinos, two plays (Felices and el Tenorio Cómica) and his YouTube channel Garnacha Chyannel… “Fortunately, I am loaded with I work and soon I start writing my nightclub show that I like a lot”.
