LaLiga Business School Partners with Sport Life Ibérica to Offer Course on Sports Event Organization

LaLiga continues to promote learning for future generations. Through its educational department, which responds to the name of LaLiga Business School, the highest category of Spanish football has signed an agreement with Sport Life Ibérica to organize a course from October 23 to 29. Under the title The Making of of the Sports Eventthe conference is held at the headquarters of the Andalusian Sports Institute, in Malaga.

The teaching, which will have the collaboration of the Andalusian Sports Institute and the Junta de Andalucía, will be limited to a maximum number of 25 students. In the LaLiga statement it has been announced that the course will offer the opportunity to learn first-hand the keys that support the organization of an event with great media coverage, as well as an event with a high participation of athletes.

Two of the examples that meet these requirements and With which the course plans to work are a LaLiga match and the TotalEnergies Malaga Half Marathon. From the organization they confirm that the students will be able to be part of the organization of the Half Marathon, which will be held on October 29, and will be able to attend a LaLiga match accompanied by one of the directors in charge of directing the matches during the competition.

In this direction, from the promotion of the course they value that the conferences mix theoretical knowledge with practical ones. In addition, they announce that the range of participation profiles is very extensivegoing from professionals who already work in events, communication and marketing departments in the sports industry to professionals from other sectors who wish to learn about and introduce themselves to the particularities of sport and entertainment.

The program posted by the group includes some of the areas that the course plans to address. Among them stand out strategic planning and the requirements of sports regulations, the regulations for television broadcastingthe generation and categorization of advertising assets or the communication of a sporting event at a local, national and international level.

This is the first time that the course is held in Malaga. In previous years, the conferences had taken place in Madrid (up to three times) and Seville. Some of the teachers who will participate during the course are Antonio del Castillo (responsible for LaLiga match directors), Henar Calleja (responsible for marketing and event protocol at Sport Life Ibérica) and Sergio Sanchez (responsible for LaLiga television production).
