Singer Lala Carmela officially married Chris Hartland on Tuesday (21/12). Both made bitcoin as a dowry at their wedding.
This was revealed from the Insta Story uploads of a number of Lala and Chris’ relatives during the marriage ceremony. However, the amount of bitcoin that became the wedding dowry was not clearly announced.
“Millennial wedding: bitcoin as a dowry,” wrote a relative in a re-upload by Lala Karmela.
Lala and Chris’ marriage ceremony was held with Javanese custom. Lala, wearing a white Javanese kebaya, was seen walking towards the wedding ceremony table accompanied by Javanese music. Meanwhile, the husband wore a white beskap and blanks.
Judging from the Instagram Story uploaded by Lala Karmela’s relative, which was uploaded by the singer, Lala and her husband asked for blessings and carried out the consent procession using English.
Lala and Chris’ wedding then continued with a reception. Lala wore a white dress and Chris wore a white shirt and black pants. In the event, Lala sang a number of songs for her husband.
