“We must highlight that said ‘immobilization’ order issued to the National Association of Self-service and Department Stores (ANTAD), by the General Directorate of Standards of the Ministry of Economy, generates surprise and confusion to our company, since it is totally unfounded and damages the reputation of our brand, “he said.
According to the company, the authority in question did not timely notify the company of the initiation of the administrative procedure referred to in said order, and that there is evidence by which the National Laboratory for Consumer Protection of the Profeco, on September 25, issued the favorable results regarding the quality study it carried out on the product, thereby validating its regulatory compliance.
