Lake Agriculture organizes a seminar on “the importance of reproductive health”

The Lake Agriculture Directorate, led by Engineer Mohamed Al-Zawawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, organized a seminar entitled “The Importance of Reproductive Health” at the Agricultural Extension Hall in the directorate.
The symposium comes within the framework of cooperation between the Directorate, the National Council for Population and the Endowment Directorate, with the aim of disseminating the concepts of reproductive health and family planning, as well as new information and directions to educate and educate different groups of society and urge them to adopt correct practices and information that benefit them in the field of reproductive health.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture in Beheira emphasized the state’s role in spreading health awareness among mothers and introducing the reproductive health services provided by health units, and how to benefit from them.
Where the urgent need to take many urgent measures in order to increase the awareness of the population in general and the rural people in particular and educate them to achieve desirable behavioral changes to reduce the increasing rates of population increase and its negative consequences for all development programs.
Dr. Saleh Ibrahim, Director General of the National Council for Population in the lake, and Sheikh Yahya Abd Al-Ati, Head of the Religious Guidance Department at the Endowments Directorate, referred to the state’s role in providing free family planning services in family health units, including conducting pre-marital screening, in order to identify diseases The genetic material that may be transmitted to the fetus, as well as full examinations for pregnant women, and the necessary analyzes and x-rays to follow the fetus during pregnancy and educate the mother on the foundations of sound parenting and the importance of breastfeeding for the mother and child, in addition to providing family planning methods and continuing reproductive health services until after childbirth.
The symposium was attended by the Director of the Agricultural Extension Department, the Population Culture Officer at the Directorate, and the directorate’s employees.
