Lajosné Miski, 90, was greeted by Lajosné Deák

Aunt Mária Lajosné Miski was born on September 30, 1933 in Sátoraljaújhely, as the third child of the family. He and his two older brothers were raised in love. After finishing school, she started working as a seamstress in the local cooperative, where, thanks to her diligence, she was assigned office work. He studied and trained himself a lot, and for forty years he handled the affairs of his colleagues as a personal assistant, helping to solve the problems that arose.

She lived a long, happy marriage with her husband. They raised two children in a balanced, calm family circle. Their older daughter is a research pharmacist in the capital, while their younger daughter taught at the Sziget Utcai Primary School for forty years and educated the children of Fehérvár. Aunt Mária moved to Székesfehérvár in 1996, where she took an active part in community life. After completing the tasks at home, he looked for something useful to do in his spare time. As a contemporary helper, as a member of the Alba Regia Pensioners’ Association, as a social visitor, he visited the city for almost two decades and became a conversation partner and support for many elderly people. “It was a great feeling to help. They were always happy to wait: we talked, went for a walk, if necessary, I took care of small things. That period was unforgettable, it was a great feeling to be together.” – says.

On the occasion of his 90th birthday, on behalf of the Municipality of Székesfehérvár and its mayor, Lajosné Deák, the municipal representative of the district, greeted the celebrant with a gift package and a commemorative card signed by the Prime Minister. Aunt Mária said that her days are not idle. She likes to sew, bake, read a good book, solve puzzles and keep up-to-date with world events on her phone.
