A source confirmed that Al-Ahly club entered into serious negotiations with Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria in order to restore Ammar Hamdi, the team’s loan player to Zaim Al-Thaghr, until the end of the season.
The source, who preferred not to be named in private statements, Laila Koura, explained that the negotiations have witnessed an evolution, in light of the player’s desire to return to the ranks of the red team.
The source indicated that Al-Ahly is trying to convince the officials of the Alexandria Union, to offer the duo of Lieutenant General Marwan Mohsen and Ahmed Yasser Rayan, in order to restore Ammar.
The source revealed that Al-Ittihad Al-Sikandari adheres to the player’s stay with the team, and not to neglect his services in light of his primary play with the team.
Ammar participated in the 4 matches Al-Ittihad Al-Alexandria fought this season, scoring a goal and making another.
Al-Ahly suffered from a numerical shortage during the last matches, as Nasser Maher was injured in the shoulder and kept away for 3 months, before Muhammad Magdi Afsha and Mahmoud Kahraba were injured in Corona, and Taher Muhammad Taher moved away after he was injured in the rib.
