Laila Elwi and Mirhan Hussein gained attention during the third day of the Cairo Film Festival

On the third day of the Cairo International Film Festival, in the 44th session, on the red carpet, while watching the films “Jalal El Din” and “I don’t want to become dust”, there were several female artists including Mirhan Hussein, Laila Alawi, Fatima Beladi , Basant Siam, Sarah Nakhla, Heba El-Sisi, Hagar El-Sharnouby.

The film “Jalal El-Din” is written and directed by Hassan Benjelloun and stars Yassine Ahjam, Tunisian Fatima Nasser and Moroccan Fatima Zahra Belady.

The film revolves around Jalal El-Din, who refuses to accept his wife’s death and decides to isolate himself until he finds the light within himself. Twenty years later, Jalal El-Din becomes a Sufi teacher who lives with his followers.

Hassan Benjelloun is one of the most important directors in the history of Morocco, born in 1950, and his debut was with feature films in 1990 and his film The Wedding of Others, producing a lot of Moroccan since its inception.
