Suma, originally from Ilantur, was concerned that the suspect in the Ilantur double murder case had called Laila’s house to let her in. 16 days before the second human sacrifice, Laila forced her to come to Zuma’s house, where they met along the way.
Suma is an employee of Adoor Mahatma Janaseva Agati Mandir. Laila was seen in a nearby village on September 10th as she was passing through the street near Bhagwal Singh’s home, where her job is to go door to door and receive donations for the center. The street was deserted and Laila, who had no experience, called her home to eat, but Suma refused for lack of experience. An old man was seen peeking out of the house.
Suma says that when she saw the photos of Laila and Bhagwal Singh on the Narabali news on Tuesday, she recalled calling home when she was looking for someone for the second human sacrifice and felt scared.
