The employees are unhappy with an old layoff order issued on the condition that only vacant positions were promised to be released. Some of the employees were called to the SDVR yesterday. 90 people were given an order to offer a new, lower position in the district administrations or in the province.

The employees indicate that the new minister Kalin Stoyanov does not know about this order signed by the former minister Ivan Demerdzhiev on April 27 of this year. They demand a meeting with the new minister.

“I want to be explained to me why I am no longer joining this unit, to be explained to me why I am being removed, to be honest and to be explained to the man,” said senior police officer Angel Kotsev.
