While the electric vehicle space is growing and growing, one area of this industry that hasn’t exactly seen the same level of improvement is the super and hypercar space. These performance vehicles require so much electricity to run that electric batteries aren’t always the best option, and while we’re seeing more and more hybrid supercars and hypercars, including Lamborghini’s Revuelto, pure EV supercars and hypercars are far less common.
But manufacturer Laffite Automobili is looking to address this issue with a collection of new hypercar models. Known as the LM1, Atrax and Barchetta, these cars are described to be “100% electric, but also 100% audible” and has a sound system that is combined with the engines to create a sound profile that will fulfill the wishes of car enthusiasts.
We become told that these cars will be fully unveiled this weekend at the F1 Miami Grand Prix and that only between 24 and 26 models will be built for each car, meaning they will be very rare vehicles when launched in the future.
