Laetitia Milot’s Emotional Journey with Endometriosis and Motherhood

May 14, 2023, Laetitia Milot and her husband Badri celebrated the 5th birthday of their daughter Lyana. And like every year, the couple organized a big party for him with the program: a piñata, a bouncy castle, water games or even a unicorn hunt. Everything was there for the little girl to have the best time with her friends and family. And for Laetitia Milot, it was above all a day filled with nostalgia.

Indeed, Lyana’s birthday represents a real victory for the former star of More beautiful life who suffers from endometriosis, a disease which prevented her from having a child for many years. So, on Instagram, Laetitia Milot could only rejoice to have seen her dream come true. “After fighting for a long time against endometriosis, a miracle happened on May 14, 2018. My ray of sunshine, my pure happiness, my life. You taught me about patience, indulgence, at your age you find the simple words to make us laugh and comfort us. I wish you a wonderful birthday surrounded by the people who love you. We love you so much that this word is not enough. Enjoy, life is precious and it goes by so fast“, she wrote in the caption of her last publication.

These sweet words accompanied a montage of several very intimate videos revealing significant and precious moments spent with Lyana. Indeed, Laetitia Milot found images of her pregnant and in full ultrasound or the day of her delivery, having contractions. We also see her husband Badri taking pleasure in dressing their daughter for the first time, as well as the beautiful evolution of their princess in recent years.

I can no longer give life

Laetitia Milot dreamed of having a second child with Badri. To put the odds on her side, the actress underwent surgery in 2019 related to her endometriosis. But the following February, on the show La Boîte à secret, the pretty brunette made heartbreaking confidences: she will no longer be able to have children.

“We wanted to have a second child to give Lyana a little brother or sister. With Lyana, we won a battle against endometriosis. But this time (…) this battle is won by endometriosis. It will no longer be possible to have a second child (…) I will no longer be able to give birth“, she had revealed with great emotion. Laetitia Milot nevertheless wanted to be positive by expressing all the gratitude for already having her little Lyana: “I have no right to complain, we have no right to complain. Life has given us the greatest gift, which is Lyana.“
