The students of the regional conservatory of music and choreographic art of Fez performed, on Wednesday, several songs on the occasion of the closing of the 2021/2022 school year.

The concert, organized on the initiative of the Association of Parents and Guardians of Conservatory Students in partnership with the Regional Directorate of Culture of Fez-Meknes, was marked by the presentation of several songs and melodies on piano, violin , saxophone and lute.

The students of the Music Conservatory, which was created in 1955, also performed Andalusian songs, in addition to pieces from the world’s classical heritage.
The concert aims to give young people the opportunity to hone their talents and encourage them to invest more.

In a statement to MAP and its news channel M24, the president of the Association of Parents and Guardians of Conservatory Students, Driss Mbakar said that this concert is hosted for the first time by students of the institute. music, adding that the role of the association is to support students during their learning period to enhance their performance.

For his part, the director of the conservatory, Mustapha El Amri stressed that this artistic ceremony aims to celebrate emerging talents who, despite the difficulties, have pursued their studies diligently, noting that the success rate for the start of the 2021/2022 school year exceeded 80%, the result of the concerted efforts of the various components of the conservatory.

Exposition

The Al Mada-Villa des Arts Foundation is organizing the “Lholm Dyali” exhibition by artist Nassim Gryech from September 8 to November 30.

This exhibition, whose opening is scheduled for September 8 at 6 p.m., brings together a set of joyful and colorful works in the image of the artist Gryech, the Foundation said in a press release on Thursday.

A native of Rabat, Mr. Gryech was unable to follow his apprenticeship in a “normal” school, yet he flourished within a structure adapted to his disability and his needs, the same source said.
Having pursued cooking, horse riding and swimming lessons, he represented Morocco at the “Special Olympics” in Los Angeles in 2015, where he was able to win a gold medal.

In 2011, he began painting lessons encouraged by his entourage and his painting teacher, to then make it his passion and his raison d’être.
After deciding to devote himself fully to painting in 2017, Mr. Gryech participated in several exhibitions in Rabat, presenting works that are characterized by cheerful themes and bright colors.
