Lady Gaga reunites with her longtime friend Tony Bennett to perform “One Last Time” on stage in New York.
The two brilliant artists collaborate to give a two-night concert entitled “One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga”. The concert will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on August 3-5, marking Bennett’s 95th birthday.
The duo took to their respective social media platforms to break the news to their fans on Monday. Gaga wrote on Twitter: “One last time! An evening with @itstonybennett and me at Radio City Music Hall on August 3 and 5. I am so honored and thrilled to celebrate Tony’s 95th birthday with him at these special shows ”,
Meanwhile, Tony also posted the announcement on his Twitter. He wrote: “It’s been too long! Ready for live music again? Join @LadyGaga and me at @RadioCity August 3-5. I can’t wait to be on the Big Stage again and can’t wait to see you there! “
According to Bennett’s post, tickets for the two-day concert featuring Bennett and Lady Gaga will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.ET on LiveNation.com. However, general ticket sales will begin the next day at 10 a.m. on Live Nation.
Additionally, audiences aged 16 and over must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the concert. People are also required to provide proof for the same.
This concert will be Bennett’s last performance in town. Earlier this year, Bennett revealed in an interview with AARP magazine that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016. Gaga was part of Bennett’s personal life. In fact, before his illness was revealed, Bennett’s son Danny had asked Gaga to go public with the news, to which she said, “Absolutely, it’s just another gift he can give to the world.” . “
