Lady Gaga Seeks Dismissal of Lawsuit Over Stolen Dogs Finder’s Fee

The woman who returned Lady Gaga’s stolen dogs can probably forget about the finder’s fee. The Pokerfacesinger wants a lawsuit to be dropped about this. The ‘honest finder’ was convicted for her involvement in the violent theft.

When Lady Gaga lost her dogs for two days in 2021, she pledged $500,000 to whoever would reunite her with the four-legged friends. That same day, Jennifer McBride brought the dogs back.

But the same McBride had a relationship with the father of one of the individuals involved in the violent robbery, in which the dog walker was shot. McBride denied involvement in the plot, but was nevertheless sentenced to two years in prison.

Despite her conviction, McBride filed suit early this year because she never received her reward. She also claims to have been scammed by Lady Gaga. “McBride wants to profit from her participation in a crime,” the singer’s lawyers say CBS News. “The law does not allow a person to commit a crime and then profit from it.”
