There hasn’t been much going on in terms of concerts in the past two years – all sorts of mega stars have had to cancel their long-planned shows, postpone them or drop them altogether. Now there are more and more loosening… and promptly the German fans are over the moon because a real superstar is announced! Lady Gaga is scheduled to begin her stadium tour in July, with a single appearance taking her to Germany.

And that’s not all: The show, which – as expected from Lady Gaga – should be gigantic, is celebrating its world premiere in Germany. However, the concert is the only one in this country – and will take place in Düsseldorf. “This will be followed by performances in Stockholm, Paris, London, Toronto, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles, among others,” says the Eventim ticket page. The concert is scheduled to start on July 17 at 7:30 p.m. and will take place in the Merkur Spiel-Arena.

The title of the show, “The Chromatica Ball”, says it all: “In addition to a comprehensive retrospective with numerous hits and fan favorites, the audience can also expect the first live performance of Gaga’s 2020 album Chromatica,” announce the organizers.

And how can fans get tickets? The official presale doesn’t start until March 14, however, before that, various presale promotions are scheduled to start, starting on Wednesday. From March 14th at 10 a.m., the tickets will then be available on all well-known advance booking portals. More detailed information on ticket prices is not yet available.

But: According to the first information, the pop star also wants to do something for a good cause. “For all shows, 1 US dollar or 1 euro per ticket will be donated to the Born This Way Foundation,” it says. “Founded by Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta in 2012, the Born This Way Foundation devotes its efforts to young people with the goal of creating a more humane and courageous world.”

Lady Gaga has already had to cancel many German concerts on her last planned tour. Because: The singer suffers from fibromyalgia, she announced herself. This chronic condition is associated with muscle and joint pain, as well as problems sleeping and fatigue. Shows in Cologne and Berlin were affected at the time. Most recently, Lady Gaga released several records – and played one of the leading roles in the film “House of Gucci” by Ridley Scott.
